It's actually implied that Gotenks isn't too far off from Gohan. A significant gap mind you, but not far off. At best Gohan might be able to get passed two if he plays his cards right, but 3 Gotenks' is just going to be too much for him to handle. [Gohan] was about as strong as our Super Gotenks!” Goten: “He was even stronger.” Trunks: “Really? …Yeah…Just a little bit.” Now honestly Trunks is probably overestimating Gotenks a bit, but it sort of shows the difference wasn't massive by any means.

But I do think Gohan had a much larger advantage than Gotenks had. Gohan can beat them in a difficult fight.

The best one Favourite Manga They all suck	I'm cool with either outcome, however for me having Gohan ahead of Gotenks by a large amount makes the whole Gotenks-Boo/Gogeta/Gotenks s* work out better for me numerically (or it did back when I cared enough to make full lists, though even though I don't now I still stick to this stance), so I'd say Gohan takes this. Chrome Favourite Manga Seven Deadly Sins, Food Wars, Onepunch-Man	If Vegeta was confident that him, Gohan, and Krillin could defeat a transformed Freeza, I reckon 3 Gotenks would be too much for Gohan. I'm not sure about 2 but eh, Gohan would probably beat em IMO.

But where would the quality come from? Gohan was not a quality fighter. He was stronger than Buu, but quality wise he barely stayed ahead of his lil brother. He could be overwhelmed and out smarted
